Technique is king and with that covered in our first article now we cover methods to use for your first chin-up that will cover from general to specific

There are actually several methods that people use to achieve their first chin-up and these are definitely where you want to eventually head. The Lat pull down would be seen as a general exercise and the methods we will discuss are becoming more specific with the most specific version being performing the actual chin-up.

First Chin-Up: The Methods

Some of the methods available to us include

1. Eccentric chin-ups (General – Specific)

2. Banded chin-ups (General – Specific)

– which bands to use
– how to use the band for your chin-ups
